THE DIAMOND JOURNEY
They often say that you can tell a lot about a person from their name. In this case,
DIAMOND embodies the definition with full force. This seasoned native of Harlem, New York
has dedicated over 30 years to her profession. Her natural ability to bring a dynamic vocal
presence to the masses has awarded her the opportunity to brand and market products
and businesses for an array of clients.
The DIAMOND JOURNEY started at the age of 4, singing in church, and discovering she had
a golden voice. Starting in Radio in her teens, propelled her career into the hip hop industry,
which opened up greater opportunities for the future. Her exceptional blend of raw talent in
music catapulted her to a well respected level.
Her growing resume includes Modeling, Fashion Design, Choreography, Writing, Marketing, Video Editing and Busic. DIAMOND has made appearances in videos, commercials, movies and plays. This multi-dimensional artist has been featured on numerous albums, mixtapes, commercials for both Radio and Television, Audio Books, and drops for well known DJs around the world.
DIAMOND has also exercised some of her other exceptional abilities to become an author. After stints of freelancing as a contributing writer for magazines, newspapers and blogs, she created her own publication in 2007, “DIAMOND LIFE.” This well rounded magazine spawned a column for readers to “ASK DIAMOND” questions about love, sex and relationships. In an effort to reach a broader audience, she shifted her creative writing talent to radio, which spawned the birth of the “ASK DIAMOND SHOW.” Going back into her humble introductions in the hip hop industry, she decided to take the show to video, change the format, and began interviewing old associates and other celebrities.
The DIAMOND JOURNEY thus far through radio and television, has given her the foundation needed as she prepares for new ventures. Destined to become an icon and one of the most successful women in the business, DIAMOND’s gift stretches far beyond the entertainment circuit. While she continues to hone her craft in producing voiceovers, audio engineering and video editing, her innate ability to captivate listeners with her voice has made her one of the most sought-after females in the business. From hooks to mixtapes, background vocals, and jingles, she uses her bilingual tongue to promote herself as well as others.
Now with a nation-wide buzz, DIAMOND is currently rolling-out a new string of projects that include Black History Moments, Tributes, Movie Reviews, Entertainment Reports and more. Additionally, DIAMOND has put a trademark on bringing sexy back, being seen as well as heard.
DIAMOND currently resides in Georgia and works as a Full-Time Commercial Producer, Voiceover Specialist and Video Editor. Her voice can be heard on WBLS in New York thanks to Kool DJ Red Alert. She also produces TKC Unit's Flashback Friday's - The Remixx. She does imaging for Violators Radio, IHeart Radio & Online Radio stations abroad.
